First trip from Frampton nr Bristol, to Congleton in Cheshire, in early January 2009. Getting on the M5 at Cromhall, taking the M5 and M6, getting off at Stoke on Trent, then taking the A500 north. We were heading up there to watch Stoke City play at home, later this day I would discover my ex girlfriend, and my only girlfriend to date who I split up with the week before had met someone else and didn't want to know me anymore, which was the start of a good 12 months worth of depression. The music which has been deleted was by Snow Patrol.

This is my second attempt at making a time lapse from my parents house, near Bristol, to my grandpa's house in Cheshire. This time I decided to take the rural route, for some reason I chose the A46, instead of the more obvious A38, to avoid the centre of Birmingham. So I ended up going miles out of my way, getting lost around Leicestershire/Derbyshire and Staffordshire towards the end. There are a few big breaks in the film, the camera runs on the cigarette lighter, so it can run out of power when the engine turns off.
