Congleton

Congleton is a town and civil parish in Cheshire, England, on the banks of the River Dane, and to the west of the Macclesfield Canal. It has a population of 22,763 as per the 2001 census.

A small bustling town with a strong local community. Many people who live in Congleton commute to nearby Manchester or Stoke on Trent. The town has lots of facilities and has alot to offer. Many of the locals volunteer for various charitable work.

There is a leisure centre, theatre, pubs, shops, cafes and lots of open spaces with some lovely walks by the river.

There is a small amount of industry in the town which offers the main employment.
